Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a writer and American actress active in theatre, television and film. Her career began with theater, and was later featured in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include The Broadway show of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her part as a regular in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
